Biography
Based in Los Angeles, California, this US indie rock band was formed in 2000 by guitarist and singer-songwriter Max Bemis (6 April 1984, New York, USA). Completing the original line-up was Coby Linder (drums), Evan Span (guitar), and Mike Levin (bass). Following the release of the four-track EP Junior Varsity the line-up altered, with Bemis switching to lead guitar after the departure of Span. Listed under the original spelling of the bands name, Sayanything, the bands emo-orientated debut Baseball, was self-released in an extremely limited edition run in 2001. The album, featuring the catchy opening track Colorblind, was an impressive effort especially as key members of the band were still attending high school at the time of release.
