Biography
Richell Bonner, 1975, Rock Hall, St. Andrew, Jamaica, West Indies. Bonner comes from a musical family that includes his siblings, Spanner Banner, Pliers and Snatcher Dog. Spices debut release, Killing A Sound, was recorded with Dennis Star Hayes and introduced the singer to the reggae cognoscenti. The song attracted the attention of Clive Hunt, who enrolled the performer to record Shine. Grooving My Girl became Spices first major hit, and he also released Earth A Run Red, Land Of Jamaica and Living Aint Easy through his older siblings label, Bonner Productions Ltd. Keeping it in the family his sister Bridget was enrolled to co-ordinate a compilation of his hits to be promoted on the live circuit.
