This controversially named US act was created when Steve Albini (22 July 1962, Pasadena, Callifornia, USA, ex-Big Black; guitar/vocals) joined forces with two former members of Scratch Acid, David Wm. Sims (bass) and Rey Washam (drums). The trio was short-lived and their output comprised one single, ‘Inki’s Butt Crack’, released on the cult Sub Pop Records label, Budd, a four-track set, and Two Nuns And A Pack Mule. This 1988 album maintained the loud, uncompromising sound the two previous units had offered - tight, crashing drums, pounding bass and sheets of metallic guitar work - and included a startling interpretation of ZZ Top’s ‘Just Got Paid’. However, the band was unable to shake off criticism of its repellent name which Albini took from a character in contemporary Japanese comics.
