Biography

Paul E. Huston, 2 April 1967, Amityville, Long Island, New York, USA. Alongside Daddy-O, Prince Paul is the second of Stetsasonic’s founding members to enjoy notable extra-curricular activities. Similarly his production credits take pride of place in his list of achievements. Probably his proudest moment came in helming De La Soul’s 1989 classic 3 Feet High And Rising, though other credits include the Fine Young Cannibals, Boogie Down Productions, MC Lyte, and Big Daddy Kane. His other notable productions included the anti-crack ‘You Still Smoking That Shit?’, and ‘Don’t Let Your Mouth Write A Check That Your Ass Can’t Cash’. He set up his own Doo Dew label in the 90s, with signings including Resident Alien.
