This long-running Danish heavy metal quintet was formed in 1981 by vocalist Ronnie Atkins (Paul Christensen) and guitarist Ken Hammer (b. Kenneth Hansen). Taking their musical brief from British acts Deep Purple, Judas Priest and UFO, their style was such that enthusiasm often outweighed originality. The band has undergone numerous line-up changes, with Atkins and Hammer initially joined by Alan Owen (keyboards), Pete Collins (b. Jan Piete; guitar), John Darrow (b. Johnny Møller; bass), and Phil Moorheed (b. Henrik Andersen; drums). Making their debut in 1983 with a self-titled album for the Par label, the sextet relocated to the major label CBS Records for the following years Red, Hot And Heavy. Although competent musicians, at times their delivery, image, and song titles provoked Spinal Tap comparisons in the press.
Collins and Darrow departed the band in the mid-80s, with the latter replaced by Allan Delong (b. Allan Jensen)....
