Contemporary Christian act Point Of Grace is a quartet originally featuring vocalists Denise Jones, Heather Floyd, Shelley Phillips and Terry Jones. Originally formed in the Ouachita Baptist Church in Arkansas, they made an immediate impact after leaving their home town and signing to Word Records, receiving multiple awards including the 1994 Gospel Music Association New Artist Of The Year nomination. The most obvious facet of their music, beyond the expected eulogies to a higher power, came in their exhilarating, syncopated harmonies. This led to the group taking a further award as Group Of The Year at the 1996 GMA awards, while a string of 11 singles penetrated the Contemporary Christian charts.
