The creation of US power pop revivalist Andy Bopp, Myracle Brah have won a loyal cult following for their wonderful pastiches of legendary bands such as the Beatles, Badfinger, and Big Star. Singer-songwriter and guitarist Bopp previously played with the moderately successful Love Nut, whose 1996 debut Bastards Of Melancholy was given a major label release by Interscope Records. Bopp formed Myracle Brah initially as a solo project, before being joined by a varying line-up including Paul Krysiak (bass/piano/vocals), Marty Canelli (organ), Joe Parsons (drums), and Greg Schroeder (drums). They have released several albums on the Not Lame label during the late 90s and early twenty-first century, the pick of which was their 1998 debut Life On Planet Eartsnop. The follow-up, Plate Spinner, was recorded in mono.
