Biography

US record label, based in Miami, which is probably best known for early 90s house hits such as the Funky Green Dogs From Outer Space’s ‘Reach For Me’ and Coral Way Chiefs’ ‘Release Myself’. The duo behind the label, Cuban-Americans Ralph Falcon and Oscar Gaetan, are also known as the Deep South Recording team. They released a string of early singles under the Intruder and Interceptor monikers, and in 1992 bowed to consumer demand and released a three-track DJ sampler which combined the hard-to-find trio of Funky Green Dogs From Outer Space (‘Reach For Me’), Liberty City (‘Some Lovin’’) and Interceptor (‘Together’). The duo also remixed D.O.P.’s ‘Oh Yeah’ for Guerilla Records, and Karen Pollack’s ‘You Can’t Touch Me’ for Emotive Records.
