Biography
High school friends Justin Pierre (26 May 1976, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA; vocals/guitar) and Joshua Cain (b. 31 July 1976, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA; guitar) formed this US pop punk band in 1997. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the duo recruited Austin Lindstrom (bass) and Joel Habedank (drums) and began performing on the local circuit. The very limited edition EPs Kids For America and Back To The Beat were released in 2000. A number of personnel changes subsequently ensued, with Matt Potocnik and Sidney Burgdorf passing through the band before a stable line-up was reached with the addition of Jesse Johnson (b. 3 June 1977, Los Angeles, California, USA; Moog/keyboards), Tony Thaxton (b. 6 September 1978, Richmond, Virginia, USA; drums) and Matthew Taylor (b. 26 November 1978, Richmond, Virginia, USA; bass).
