Marques Barrett Houston, 4 August 1981, Los Angeles, California, USA. Vocalist Marques ‘Batman’ Houston enjoyed a string of US hit singles during the mid-90s as a member of teen R&B vocal trio Immature. After a name change to IMx in the late 90s, which marked the trio reaching maturity, the hits began to dry up and the members began to concentrate on outside projects following the release of their self-titled 2001 album. Houston had already established an acting career during his time with Immature/IMx, most prominently with a regular role in the mid-90s television series Sister, Sister. He diversified into songwriting and production before making his solo debut in 2003 with MH. The album, which featured prominent contributions from R.
