Biography

One of the earliest hip-hop acts who broke through in 1983 with ‘Hip Hop Be Bop (Don’t Stop)’. His only other UK hit was ‘Boogie Down (Bronx)’ in 1985. However, his biggest slice of success came in 1987 through a joint venture with Man 2 Man, ‘Male Stripper’. After heavy exposure in gay clubs, it rose to number 4 in the UK.
