Biography
Formed in the mid-70s in Ario de Rosales, Michoacan, Mexico, the name of this band translates colloquially as little kids. Founding members were cousins Marco Antonio Solís (29 December 1959, Ario De Rosales, Michoacán, Mexico; vocals), and Joel Solis (b. 24 December 1956, Ario De Rosales, Michoacán, Mexico; guitar), who had earlier worked together at Los Hermanitos. Over the next few years, other band members included José Javier Solís (percussion), Roberto Guadarrama (b. 19 May 1960, Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, Mexico; keyboards), Pepe Guadarrama (b. Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, Mexico; percussion/saxophones), Eusebio Cortez (b. 16 December 1958, Mexico City, Mexico; bass), and Pedro Sánchez (b. 27 August 1957, Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico; drums).
