Biography

Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, 1973, Oslo, Norway. Lindstrøm was one of the most notable figures to emerge from the Norwegian nu-disco scene in the early years of the new millennium. His childhood was spent in the small western Norwegian city of Randaberg. He grew up to a soundtrack of country and folk music, citing Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan as particular favourites. Lindstrøm’s formative years were spent learning how to play a number of different instruments, including drums, keyboards and guitar. He cut his teeth in local bands playing everything from punk to folk with a twist of gospel (he played the organ at his local church), but never experienced any level of success.

Lindstrøm relocated to Oslo in 2003 and started his label Feedelity Recordings. The same year he released the underground classic Untitled EP, which was immediately picked up by DJs including the Idjut Boys, Daniel Wang and DJ...
