Biography
Karen Lynn Greening, 21 July 1962, Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Canadian vocalist Lee Aaron first achieved notoriety by naïvely posing nude for a magazine on the advice of an unscrupulous manager, and consequently faced a struggle to prove that she had more to offer than looks alone. The Lee Aaron Project, recorded with backing from Triumphs Rik Emmett, Santers, Frank Soda and Moxy, was a positive step, displaying the powerful, husky Aaron voice, although the sometimes clichéd lyrics left a little to be desired. However, domestic interest resulted in a contract with Attic Records, and Metal Queen improved on the debut as Aaron worked with guitarists John Albani (ex-Wrabit) and future Hannover Fist member George Bernhardt to produce more suitable material, the former becoming Aarons long-term songwriting partner.
