Biography
c. 1969, Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Although interested in singing country music from an early age, Tylers first job in showbusiness was as a television producer. This was at KNXV-TV, Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked on news programmes. Meanwhile, she was writing songs and after encouragement from singers Mary Chapin Carpenter and Trisha Yearwood, and Bo Goldsen of Criterion Records, she signed with Rising Tide Records, who released an EP featuring Im In Trouble Now. She wrote most of the songs for her 1998 debut album, displaying a talent for interesting lyrics and memorable melodies, with stand-out tracks including What A Woman Knows, Shes Only A Cowboy (When It Rains), Kind Of Like California, and Keeping Your Kisses.
