Biography
Kippi Rolynn Binkley, 1966, Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Taught to play piano by her mother and guitar by her father, Brannon sang from very early childhood. She was soon singing professionally and attracting considerable attention. She sang in a Nashville shopping mall at the age of 12 and was spotted by and then recorded for Curb Records. Two years later she relocated to MCA Records, changing her stage name to the more mature-sounding Brannon (the name of a local automotive company). Brannon was nominated as Top New Female Vocalist Of The Year for the 1981 Academy of Country Music Awards and her recordings of Daddys Little Girl, Slowly and If I Could See You Tonight did well, while He Dont Make Me Cry and 1983s In My Dreams did even better.
