Biography
17 November 1956, Australia. Ceberano began her singing career in Melbourne with the dance-techno band Im Talking from 1983 to 1987. During this period she maintained her own band project, Kate Ceberano And The Hogie Cats. Ceberano eventually made the move to a full solo career, initially recording a jazz album with the Kate Ceberano Septet, before recording her successful solo album in 1989. Having proved her proficiency in various styles, she was able to sustain a high profile with session work for such names as Men At Work. She achieved a minor degree of international success in 1990 with the UK club/dance hit Young Boys Are My Weakness.
