Having allegedly written over 300 original compositions dating back to the late 80s, singer-songwriter June Panic has refused to be tied down to a single musical style, issuing albums comprised of bratty punk rock as well as folk-inflected material. June Panic (his real name is a mystery) grew up in El Paso, Texas, before settling down in North Dakota, where he went to school in Fargo. He began playing locally in his early teens, but as expected with most small towns, the music scene was entirely DIY based. As a result, the newly named June Panic created his tiny independent label, 3 Out Of 4, at the ripe old age of 14. From 1990-95 he issued a staggering 12 albums, albeit in cassette form only.
