Biography
b Judie Myers, 3 April 1956, London, England. Tzuke is a great singer and songwriter whose small degree of commercial success contrasts with the quality of her recorded output. Of Polish extraction, she studied drama as a child and by the age of 15 was setting her poems to music. In 1975 she began writing with Mike Paxman and as Tzuke And Paxo they recorded These Are The Laws for Tony Viscontis Good Earth company. In 1978, she joined Elton Johns Rocket Records label and released the choral For You, followed by the epic ballad Stay With Me Till Dawn. Produced by John Punter, the single was a big UK hit, reaching number 16 in July 1979. Her debut Welcome To The Cruise was a slick production and deservedly climbed to number 14 in the UK album chart.
