Joseph Michael Miskulin, 6 January 1949, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Miskulin has established himself in country music in several capacities. He is a singer, songwriter and record producer but perhaps most of all an exceedingly talented piano accordionist. After showing promise on the instrument as a child, his parents sent him for lessons at the age of five and by 11 he was performing with a local band. He played mainly polka tunes but recorded with Roman Possedi when he was 12. At 13, he became a member of Frank Yankovics noted band and for the next 13 years Miskulin toured and recorded with him. In the late 50s, he toured with the Hawaii International Review to Hong Kong, Japan and other Far Eastern locations but on completion of the tour, he rejoined Yankovic.
