Biography
Suzanne Burce, 1 April 1929, Portland, Oregon, USA. A petite, vivacious, actress and singer with a thrilling soprano voice who excelled in several popular MGM musicals of the 50s. After singing a mixture of classical and popular songs on local radio, she won a film contract with MGM when she was just 15 years old. Her debut in Song Of The Open Road was followed in the 40s and early 50s by Delightfully Dangerous, Holiday In Mexico, Three Daring Daughters, A Date With Judy, Luxury Liner, Nancy Goes To Rio, Two Weeks With Love, Rich, Young And Pretty, Small Town Girl and Three Sailors And A Girl (1953). In 1951 she co-starred with Fred Astaire in Royal Wedding, and they duetted on one of the longest song titles ever - "How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Loved You When You Know I've Been A Liar All My Life?".
