Biography
One of the leading Australian metalcore bands of the early 00s, Jona Weinhofen (guitar/vocals), Lee Stacy (vocals), Ben Engel (bass), JJ Peters (drums), and Simon OGorman (guitar) completed the original line-up of I Killed The Prom Queen. While working on demo material they drafted in additional vocalist Michael Crafter, although by the time the band made its recording debut with 2002s Choose To Love, Live, Or Die, Kevin Cameron and Leaton Rose had replaced OGorman and Engel respectively. Further line-up changes saw the departure of Stacy and the recruitment of new bass player Sean Kennedy, with the slimmed-down line-up completing 2003s When Goodbye Means Forever
This was the first I Killed The Prom Queen release to obtain North American distribution, and received strong reviews in the heavy metal press. Crafter was asked to leave the band following a tour to support 2005s Your Past Comes Back To Haunt...
