This thrash metal group from Germany, formed in the mid-80s, comprised Andy Classen (guitar), Sabina Classen (vocals), Reiner Laws (guitar), Thomas Becker (bass) and Ulli Kusch (drums). Their early efforts for the independent domestic label Aaarrg Records saw the group hone its sound into one of the more powerful examples of the speed-metal genre, drawing obvious influence from Slayer and Anthrax. A series of excellent reviews and a growing live reputation led to a contract with WEA Records. Unfortunately, The New Machine Of Liechtenstein, produced by Anthrax and Testament producer Alex Parialis, showcased a group confused as to whether to pursue the style with which they had earned their reputation, or to produce something more accessible to the mainstream. With the group unable to resolve their direction, it received mixed reviews and their association with WEA was discontinued.
