Biography
Formed in 1982 in Houston, Texas, USA, the bands original line-up consisted of James Rivera (vocals), Larry Barragan (guitar), Robert Trevin (guitar), Jerry Abarca (bass) and Rene Lima (drums). Owing to an excellent four-track demo recorded in 1983, the band quickly became a favourite on the underground tape-trading scene. Attracting the attention of Combat Records, they released their debut album, Burning Star, in 1984. Produced by ex-Rods drummer Carl Canedy, it did not possess the spark of the early demo but was still a worthy slice of power metal. Internal wrangles led to both guitarist Robert Trevin and drummer Rene Lima leaving the band to be replaced by André Corbin and Frank Ferreira, respectively. A second album, Remnants Of War, was released in 1986 and followed closely in the footsteps of its predecessor.
