Biography

Travis L. Blaylock, 21 December 1934, Douglassville, Texas, USA. With a local gospel group, the Sunny South Gospel Singers, Blaylock began playing harmonica before reaching his teens. He gained experience playing in churches and over the radio and at the end of the 40s relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he started playing with blues bands.
