Biography
Formed in Paramus, New Jersey, USA, in 1978 by Paul Smith (vocals) and Dan Lorenzo (9 January 1963, USA; guitar), with Tom Coombes (drums) and Lou Ciarlo (bass) soon added to the line-up, this enduring thrash metal outfits first recording was 1982s Deliver Us From Evil. The line-up of Lorenzo, Coombes, Alan Tecchio (b. 27 August 1966, USA; vocals), Scott LePage (guitar) and Jimmy Schulman (b. 27 December 1962, USA; bass) was established in 1985. They signed a recording contract with Torrid Records and released Resisting Success in 1987. The band showed much promise but were always troubled by internal strife, with Ed Fuhrman (b. 6 April 1968, USA), replacing LePage on If At First You Dont Succeed. This line-up collapsed in 1989.
