Perhaps the quintessential band of the New York, USA-based hardcore punk scene of the late 80s, Gorilla Biscuits became highly influential in the space of just one album and EP. Originally comprising Arthur Smilios (bass), Anthony Civ Civocelli (vocals), Walter Schreifels (guitar) and Token Entry member Ernie Parada (drums), the bands initial demo was recorded while most of the members were still in high school, and still learning their instruments. Despite this, it was an immediate underground hit, and the band soon graduated to playing all-ages matinee shows at the infamous CBGBs alongside Warzone, Youth Of Today, Bold, Sick Of It All and Underdog.
