Biography
1 August 1971, Texas City, Texas, USA. This country singer-songwriter was raised by his mother in San Diego, California, until the age of 12, when he relocated to Houston, Texas, to live with his father and stepmother. He began writing and singing in his early teens, and performed with a number of college-based bands. After leaving college he began working in a bank during the day and performing in local bars at night, before making the decision to head off to Nashville to pursue his musical dream. He teamed up with Radney Foster to write the latters country hit Just Call Me Lonesome, and then signed a solo recording contract with Capitol Records. Ducas self-titled debut album was released in 1995 and featured the singles Kisses Dont Lie, Hello Cruel World, Teardrops and the Top 5 hit Lipstick Promises.
