Biography

26 January 1963, Dorion, Quebec, Canada. Joli was only 16-years-old when she recorded the song that would become her first and only chart hit, ‘Come To Me’. She had been a singer, dancer and actress from a small child, and had a full-time performing career before she reached her teens. She was discovered by Canadian singer Tony Green, who wrote ‘Come To Me’ and became her manager. Signed to Prelude Records, she released the maiden recording in the autumn of 1979 and it reached number 15 in the US pop charts. Joli continued to record switching to Epic Records in the mid-80s.
