Biography
This US sleaze-rock heavy metal band, originating (surprisingly) from the home of country music, Nashville, was formed in 1989 by vocalist Rick Ruhl and guitarist Steve Malone. With the addition of bass player Mark McMurty and drummer Jim Phipps, they signed a contract with Arista Records in 1990. Their self-titled debut, released the same year, combined Kiss, Aerosmith, Tesla and Bon Jovi influences to powerful effect. Their dynamism and musical palate gave the songs a cutting edge that elevated the resultant collection above mere plagiarism.
