Biography
6 March 1913, Glasgow, Scotland, d. 1 May 1969, Burlingame, California, USA. A member of a well-known theatrical family, Logan first appeared on the stage at the age of three, singing The End Of A Perfect Day at the Grand Theatre in Paisley, Scotland. She became a popular singer during the 20s, performing with various bands and at many theatres in the UK and Europe. In 1932 she went to the USA to appear with Fred Warings band and worked on radio, the stage and in films. Accompanying her to Hollywood was her three-year-old niece, Annie Ross. Logan appeared in a small number of musical films, including Top Of The Town (1937), 52nd Street (1937) and The Goldwyn Follies (1938). Her stage appearances were more successful and included Calling All Stars, George Whites Scandals and Sons OFun.
