Biography
This London, England-based power metal band was formed in 1999 from the ashes of New Zealand black metal exponents Demoniac. Sam Totman (8 August 1979, Hertfordshire, England; guitar), Herman Shred Li (b. 12 March 1976, Hong Kong; guitar), Matej Setinc (drums) and Diccon Harper (bass) were originally known as DragonHeart, but were forced to change their name owing to a clash with the Brazilian metal band Dragonheart. By this time Setinc and Harper had left the line-up, with ZP Zippy Theart (b. 22 January 1975, Clanwilliam, South Africa; vocals) and Steve Scott (bass) joining Totman and Li on the demo Valley Of The Damned (as DragonHeart). Didier Almouzni (drums) and Steve Williams (keyboards) were then recruited for live work, but further line-up changes saw the departure of Scott and Williams (to form Power Quest), with the returning Harper and Vadim Pruzhanov (b. 18 June 1983, Ukraine) taking their places and helping record a new version...
