UK electronica trio comprising Paul Harris (London, England; keyboards, production), Ben Harris (b. Kent, England; guitar, production) and Steve Smith (b. London, England; vocals, guitar, percussion). Paul Harris started DJing at an early age, and by his late teens had a residency at Nicky Holloways London club The Milk Bar. Ben Harris (no relation) played with indie band Fluid before setting up a specialist dance shop with his brother and producing house music as Bullit. He teamed up with Paul Harris in early 2000, working under the moniker Hydrogen Rockers. Paul then brought in Smith, an experienced session percussionist and former vocalist with the band Higher Ground. Renaming themselves Dirty Vegas, they set about recording a song written by Smith, Days Go By. This hypnotic, bass-driven track was championed by UK DJ Pete Tong and led to a recording contract with Parlophone Records. Released as a single, Days Go By broke into the UK...
