Biography

Initially part of the emo-tinged major-label outfit Noise Ratchet, Jon Jameson and Brandon Young departed and joined forces with Matthew Vasquez, Sean Walker, and Kelly Winrich to form the more classic rock-inspired five-piece Delta Spirit. Finding kindred spirits in bands similarly influenced by everything from the Rolling Stones to 1990s alt-rock, the group toured with contemporaries including Dr. Dog and Cold War Kids. In 2007, they issued their debut, ODE TO SUNSHINE, which was subsequently reissued by their new label, Rounder Records.
