15 October 1965, USA. The son of country legend Roger Miller, Dean Miller admits that his lineage had a huge impact on his career development: He influenced me in every way. He was very wise and helped me become a better person as well as a better songwriter. But I dont think my music is anything like his. Miller Jnr. was as much influenced by country rockers John Mellencamp and Steve Earle as traditional country staples such as Buck Owens and Willie Nelson.
