Biography

Inspired to pursue a career in country music after seeing a Keith Urban concert at age 16, Dan Evans found limited local success in Chicago, but his aspirations were stunted by obesity and self-esteem issues. These limitations were turned into advantages when Evans lost 136 pounds as a contestant on the hit fitness-themed reality show THE BIGGEST LOSER and Evans was able to parlay his resulting fame into a major label recording contract. His first album GOIN’ ALL OUT combined sharply written inspirational lyrics with a vibrant brand of Southern rock-tinged pop country, revealing that Evans's onscreen charisma was matched by his serious musicianship.
