Springfield, Missouri, USA. Affable guitarist and singer-songwriter Wayne began performing professionally in 1975, and despite remaining outside the country mainstream has built up a loyal following with his no-frills honky-tonk style. After years spent touring and working in Nashville as a demo singer Wayne got the chance to make his recording debut, releasing Georgia Dreamin’ in 1989. The following year he worked with the Special Consensus bluegrass band on the Grammy-nominated Hey Y’All, and it was while touring Europe with this unit that he made the acquaintance of Finnish band the Dimlights. His collaboration with the Dimlights on the 1992 release Lucky 13 marked the start of a decade-long working relationship, which resulted in the release of several albums (bestsellers on the Scandinavian market) and an extensive international touring schedule.
