Biography
This promising US rock group was formed in 1970, when singer/guitarist Michael Fennelly (New Jersey, USA), an ex-member of Sagittarius and the Millennium, joined forces with Stonehenge, a struggling Los Angeles bar band. Casey Foutz (b. Iowa, USA; keyboards), Hank Harvey (b. California, USA; bass), Phil Jones (b. Iowa, USA; drums) and Felix Falco Falcon (b. Cuba; percussion) completed the line-up, which took its name from a cartoon character. Signed to the Elektra label, their excellent debut album included Go Back, which reached the US Top 40, but despite completing a well-received tour, sustained success eluded the quintet. Their second set, Rotten To The Core, lacked the cohesion of its predecessor and the group disbanded in 1972 when Fennelly embarked on a solo career.
