Biography
Circus Lupus comprised Arika Casebolt (drums), Chris Hamely (guitar), Seth Lorinczi (bass) and Chris Thomson (vocals). They emerged in the 90s as one of the new breed of US alternative rock bands. Founded in Washington, DC, the band chose not to play the relentlessly intense hardcore sound associated with their home, but opted for a looser feel. On Solid Brass the producer Don Zientara emphasized Thomsons highly personal lyrics. It also included (on CD and cassette versions) the bands Joan Jett -produced single, Pop Man, a favourite of US college radio.
