Biography
Christian Cagle, 10 November 1968, DeRidder, Louisiana, USA. This no-frills country rock artist grew up in Houston, Texas. Cagle learned to play guitar and piano as a youngster and dropped out of college at the age of 19 to pursue a musical career. He relocated to Nashville in the mid-90s where he struggled to make an impact before placing some songs with the up-and-coming performer David Kersh. In the late 90s, Cagle secured his own recording contract with Virgin Records and enjoyed immediate Top 20 success on the country charts with his debut single, ‘My Love Goes On And On’. ‘Laredo’ and the attendant Play It Loud were moderate successes as Cagle backed his chart breakthrough with a series of exciting live show.
