Biography
This duo from Seattle, USA comprised Shannon Rubicam (vocals) and George Merrill (keyboards). They were backed up by session musicians and specialized in middle-of-the-road melodies. Around the same time they were approached by the film company Touchstone to perform a song for a new movie, Three Men And A Baby. The film became one of the biggest hits of 1987, and their track ‘Waiting For A Star To Fall’ was a worldwide success. However, they found life hard without the promotion of a movie to back their following singles, and were unable to recapture the success of their one and only hit.
