Biography
Bryan Hollon, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Hollons relationship with hip-hop has been a curious one, with 2007s techno-inspired mini-album Sacchrilege, seemingly distancing him from the genre. Hollons stated early influences include Fugazi, Sonic Youth, David Bowie and My Bloody Valentine. His interests and listening habits mutated such that he began DJing hip-hop, jazz and electronica in the clubs of his home-town. This DJing culminated in the production of the 1998 EP, The Low End Sequence, with DJ Osiris and Robert Curcio. Following his collaboration with Clouddeads Doseone, on Circle in 2000, Hollon began working with the Lex imprint (which was, until 2005, a subsidiary of Warp Records), releasing the labels first album Seed To Sun in 2002.
