Biography
Born in Massachusetts in 1990, Bo Burnham early developed a flare for the crude insights of classic standup comedians, and also became a multi-instrumentalist. He was able to combine these talents through the medium of online videos by posting self-recorded bedroom comedy songs to YouTube beginning in December of 2006. Satirical bits like “3:14” and “My Whole Family” quickly became an internet phenomenom, and by 2008, Burnham had an agent and a record deal with Comedy Central, who released his debut EP, BO FO’ SHO, and followed it up with a self-titled full-length and television special in 2009.
