Biography
Formed in 2000 in Detroit, Michigan, USA, Blanche revolves around married couple Dan Miller (guitar/vocals) and Tracee Mae Miller (bass/vocals). Dan Miller enjoyed cult notoriety in the 90s owing to his involvement with both explosive cow-punk outfit Goober And The Peas and garage rock band Two Star Tabernacle, the latter of which featured both his wife and a pre- White Stripes Jack White. The Millers formed Blanche after the brief career of Two Star Tabernacle imploded at the end of the previous century, with Patch Boyle (banjo/autoharp), Lisa Jaybird Jannon (drums) and Dave Feeny (steel guitar) joining them in their new venture. Their debut single, Whos To Say, was released by the small Cass imprint in 2003.
