Biography
Terance Perry, New York City, New York, USA. Making a name for himself in the rap community originally for his guest spots on recordings by Mobb Deep, Big Noyd went on to issue his own solo albums. Originating from the Queens district of New York City, Noyd guested on the mid-90s Mobb Deeps The Infamous (1995) and Hell On Earth (1996). Both albums served as a showcase of sorts for Noyds rhyming talents, with the result that a solo recording contract with Tommy Boy Records was signed shortly afterwards. Noyds debut, Episodes Of A Hustla, followed in 1996, but despite respectable placings in the USA charts (spawning hits, Usual Suspect and Recognize & Realize), the album was not warmly received by the critics.
