This US post-hardcore band was formed in 2002 by the New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Ben Jorgensen (4 July 1983, Teaneck, New Jersey, USA; vocals/guitar). Originally conceived as a solo project, Jorgensen gradually began to bring in other musicians to help him, with the line-up coalescing around Nash Breen (drums), PJ DeCicco (guitar) and Anthony Dilonno (bass). The quartet established a strong reputation on the local alternative rock scene, which quickly led to a recording contract with Equal Vision Records. Their 2003 debut, Dream To Make Believe, was a passable collection of emo-tinged indie rock, although of more interest was Jorgensens obsession with space and time travel (hardly conventional subject matter for this type of band).
Following the albums release the band began to spread their wings, undertaking national tours with acts such as Taking Back Sunday and Thursday and then as headliners in their own right. The...
