Acid House Kings
Formed in 1991 by Joakim Ödlund (guitar) and brothers Niklas Angergård (guitar/vocals) and Johan Angergård (22 March 1974, Ängelholm, Scania, Sweden; bass), this Swedish indie pop band released a number of limited edition vinyl singles before making Pop, Look & Listen! in 1992. The album reprised the twee pop sound of Ödlund and Johan Angergårds concurrent project Poprace. When the latter disbanded in 1995, Johan Angergård set up Club 8 with Poprace vocalist Karolina Komstedt. He continued to work with the Acid House Kings, however, helping record the melodic guitar pop set, Advantage Acid House Kings, in 1997. The guest vocalist on that album, Julia Lannerheim, was made a full-time member on the 2002 follow-up, Mondays Are Like Tuesdays And Tuesdays Are Like Wednesdays.
