André Tanneberger, Freiberg, Germany. Recording under the abbreviation ATB, Tanneberger, who had worked as a remixer for acts such as the Outhere Brothers and Haddaway, came to fame in July 1999 when his melodic trance single 9pm (Till I Come) became a UK number 1 hit. The single was distinctive for its infectious melody and its synthesized slide guitar sound.
