Biography
This Canadian rock band produced four albums between 1971 and 1977. The band was formed in 1971 by Alex Machin (vocals), Paul Naumann (guitar), Bob Horne (keyboards), Hugh Leggat (bass) and Danny Taylor (drums). Concentrating on a traditional approach to songwriting, their work was characterized by Machins expressive vocals and Naumanns melodic guitar lines. They enjoyed notable success with the single (Make Me Do) Anything You Want, taken from their 1972 debut album. Horne left the band in 1976 and the remaining members called it a day the following year. Leggat went on to form the Rolling Stones -influenced Private Eye, and later, a progressive outfit under his own surname. Machin, Taylor, Naumann and Leggat reunited in 1988 to complete a Canadian tour. They continue to play live on an occasional basis.
