Utilizing all four members’ talents as singer-songwriters, US country rockers Whiskey Falls made a splash in Nashville with their 2007 debut album. Seven Williams (Keith Volpone, USA; vocals) and Wally Brandt (vocals/guitar) worked in their own production company in Los Angeles, California, writing music for television and films, as well as making regular trips to Nashville to co-write with successful country songwriters. Although Williams and Brandt did quite well in these endeavours, they decided in 2006 that they wanted to pursue a more personal musical vision. Whiskey Falls was born when they recruited Damon Johnson (vocals/guitar, ex-Brother Cane) and Buck Johnson (guitar/keyboards). The two Johnsons are not related.
